Alecia obtained Master's degrees in both school and clinical counseling from Marshall University. She has experience working with an array of mental health and substance use disorders. Alecia applies an integrated approach to counseling, rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy to address a wide range of presenting issues impacting cognitive and social-emotional wellbeing. She is also active in the community as a member of the advisory committee at Recovery Point Charleston, member of the board of directors for the WV Association of Play Therapy, and a member of Keep Youth Faith Corporation.
Nakia holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in counseling. She is very passionate about trauma recovery and healing. Nakia combines cognitive behavioral theory with practical applications to help her clients overcome their challenges. Nakia has counseled in both school and community settings, and has worked with people of all ages.
Ashley is a psychologist and WV native, who received her bachelor's in psychology from WVU in 2007 and her master's in Clinical Psychology from Marshall University in 2011. Since that time, she has worked in several settings and with a variety of populations suffering from different behavior health maladies. She primarily conducts psychological evaluations at Lasting Solutions, but provides therapy as well.
Carly is a WV native and received her Master's degree in Social Work from WVU in 2013. She is currently a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and is certified in TF-CBT, which has been shown to be helpful with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. She is also trained in EMDR therapy. She has always been interested in working with children and adolescents. Her clinical interests include working with children in foster care, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Kelsey is a WVV native who obtained her bachelor's in psychology from WVUIT and her master’s in Experimental Psychology from Radford University in 2020 where she studied the association between polyvictimization, resilience, and substance use. Kelsey is currently working toward her second master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. She utilizes CBT, DBT, ABA, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care, as well as many other techniques. Kelsey defines herself as a generalist and has worked with a variety of individuals with special clinical interest in adults with anxiety, depression, substance use, or trauma.
Wilsie completed her undergraduate studies at West Virginia State University and her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Marshall University. Before moving to West Virginia 23 years ago, Wilsie earned a degree in nursing from Camosun College in British Columbia, Canada. Wilsie has worked in both mental and physical health settings and with a variety of populations. She provides therapy services at Lasting Solutions with a clinical interest in family reunification therapy.
JC started Lasting Solutions in May 2014. Aside from running the agency as the Clinical Director, JC does psychological evaluations, therapy, and CAPS assessments. JC obtained his bachelor's degree from the University of Charleston in 1999. He became a licensed social worker and started working in the field in 2002. He obtained his master's degree in clinical psychology from Marshall University in 2010 and is currently a supervised psychologist. He has experience working with at-risk youth, court-involved clients/families, foster children, etc.
Kamri is a supervised psychologist providing both therapeutic services and psychological evaluations. She received her master's in Clinical Psychology, as well as a master's in Art Therapy Counseling, from Emporia State University. She brings an integrative approach to therapy with a strong background in Positive, Person-Centered, and Existential psychology theories.
Arica is a Licensed Professional Counselor and an ALPS Supervisor. She completed her bachelor's degree in Recreation and Park Resources at Marshall University in 2004 and her master's in Counseling at Marshall University in 2007. She has worked with a diverse population, including: young children, adolescents, high-risk youth, foster children, juveniles in drug court, parents, and families. She uses Trauma Systems Therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR, as well as other techniques.
Sarah “Sally” Koster is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Marshall University in 2004, and her master’s degree in mental health counseling from Marshall in 2006. Sally enjoys primarily working with children and youth, but also has experience in therapy with families, adults, and the chronically mentally ill. She has experience treating a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma related disorders, ADHD, and behavioral problems. She is currently training in and providing EMDR therapy.
Judi is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker working toward her LICSW. She obtained a bachelor’s in psychology from West Virginia University, a juris doctorate from Albany Law School and master's in social work from the University of Southern Indiana. She has experience with individuals in child welfare, with severe/persistent mental illness, and with chronic health conditions. She uses an integrative approach with a variety of techniques including cognitive behavioral, solution focused, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing to address depression, anxiety, trauma, and anger. She provides therapy and CAPS assessments and enjoys working with all ages.
Kim obtained her bachelor's degree in social work from WVSU in June 2007. Afterward, she worked for WV DHHR in CPS and adoptions. She started working for Lasting Solutions in 2016 as a Family Outreach Specialist, but obtained her master's in counseling in December 2016 and now provides therapy services and CAPS assessments. She enjoys working with children and families. Kim is trained in EMDR and TF-CBT, both of which are models of therapy used to treat trauma.
Ashley completed her Bachelor's in social work at West Virginia State University in 2015 and then her Master's in social work at Concord University in 2017. She has provided therapy services to children, adolescents, adults, and families, but prefers working with adolescents and adults. She has worked in school-based and in-home settings, as well as a long-term care facility. Ashley provides in-home and school-based therapy services, as well as CAPS assessments, primarily in Cabell and Putnam counties.
Kelly is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a former K-12 School Counselor. Kelly completed her bachelor's degree in psychology at West Virginia State University, and both her master’s in counseling and her educational specialist degrees at Marshall University. She has worked with children of all ages, including: at-risk youth, incarcerated youth, and youth in residential placement. She is also a SBHP provider for military personnel/veterans. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, transactional analysis, as well as other other techniques.
Leah is a graduate of Rutgers University and WVU and is a licensed clinical social worker. She has worked in the field of social work for over 10 years. She has experience working with adolescents, adults, and high-risk youth involved with the juvenile justice system. Her clinical interests include trauma, family therapy, psychotherapy, and substance abuse. She is trained in EMDR, which is a model of therapy used to treat trauma and other disorders. Leah primarily works in Kanawha County.
Kristin is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Marshall University in 2016 and her Master’s degree in Counseling from Marshall University in 2019. Kristin uses an integrated approach of Impact Therapy and TF-CBT to provide individual and family therapy services. She primarily works with children, adolescents, and families, but she is also experienced in working with adult victims of trauma.

Allycia obtained a Bachelor's in Psychology from Liberty University and a Master's in Counseling from
Marshall University. Her clinical interests include trauma, sexual abuse survivors, family therapy, anxiety, anger problems, depression, and substance use disorders.
Allycia uses techniques from CBT, EMDR, and EFFT therapies, as well as mindfulness and relaxation techniques.
Brooke completed her undergraduate studies at William Woods University and her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Marshall University. Brooke applies an acceptance commitment therapy approach to counseling, in addition to the use of cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients address their current struggles. She’s interested in providing services to all ages from children to adults. Brooke is also trained in EMDR therapy.
Carey obtained bachelor's degrees in psychology and criminology from WVU in 2006. She obtained a master's degree in clinical psychology from Marshall University in 2010. Carey is a licensed psychologist and serves as co-director of Lasting Solutions. She does psychological evaluations, I/DD Waiver evaluations, CSED Waiver evaluations, CAPS assessments, and EMDR therapy. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with various behavioral health concerns.
Lexie obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Marshall University in 2017 and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Marshall University in 2018. She is currently enrolled and working toward a Doctorate of Social Work at Capella University. Lexie uses techniques from theories including Choice Theory, Person-Centered therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. She works with children, adolescents, and adults. She is also trained in EMDR.
